I have to let go...

*RE-EDIT TO SHOW THE LATEST STATUS OF THE BAGS!

Letting go is hard... Super hard... But I know I have to do it..

I am letting go my babies, my precious babies :(

As I am now in the process of clearing my home to make way for my real baby, I have to let go some of my handbags. Daripada buang terus might as well sell it to new owners whom will make them happy.. At first memang sayang nak let go considering I paid sooo much money buying these bags. OKlah maybe not so much my money coz 80% of my bags came from encek K; but I still love the bags to bits. Sayaaaaang teramat-amat sangat.

When I told encek K I wanted to sell off some of the bags he was pretty upset (like really upset), he asked me "Awak tak sayang ke beg-beg tu, saya bagi awak tu..." My reply was," Haihhhh bukan tak sayang, memang sayang sangattt, tapi daripada beg tu tak berpakai, baik beg tu pergi kat tuan baru yang akan sayang diorang macam saya sayang dorang." He finally gave in after a lot of persuasion, but I still can see some disapproval from his face. I feel really guilty :(

But... I know I have to do this. I have to clear more space in my home. So I am letting go some of my bags.. At the moment I am letting go 1 Nine West bag and 4 GUESS bags. All are below RM50 (SUPERRRRR CHEAPPPP & 100% GUARANTEED ORIGINAL OK!) There will be more bags for sale really soon (Mulberry for Target, GUESS and Coach coming soon!); I have to snap the pictures first. Sooo if there's anything u like, please SMS me at 012-6625779. I can reserve for one day only and will let go the bag to the next person waiting if you cannot make payment within 24 hours.

monday blue-s

Happy Monday ladies! I had a longer weekend since I took leave last Friday. Have to say that it was a tiring weekend but it was filled with so much love and joy..

We (me and encek K) actually went for our baby's check up last Friday at KPJ hospital in Seremban. Did I tell you already that we have the nicest O&G doctor ever? His name is Dr. Ishak and we love him soooo sooo much..

Alhamdulillah syukur everything is fine. Both mommy and baby are OK :) We could hear our baby's heart rate for the first time and it was really overwhelming for both of us. Encek K terover excited time ni. Hahahahahaha.. Well, yang tak berapa bestnya we could not see whether it's a boy or girl coz he/she was very very shy. Hehehehehe.. He/She tutup rapat kaki dia takmoh bagi kitorang tengok. Haihhh.. Penat doktor pujuk pun tak nak tunjuk jugak. Doc said we have to wait until the next check up. Takpelahhh, since semuanya ok and our lil one is doing fine, we are pretty happy already.

Anyways, we have not made up our minds yet on whether we will deliver our baby in government hospital or private hospital. I mean, both have pros and cons kan.. So at the moment we are doing our check ups both at klinik kesihatan kerajaan and also private hospital.

Someone e-mailed me the other day asking what vitamins am I taking right now for my pregnancy. Well, if you go for your check up at klinik kesihatan, they will give you a lot of vitamins/supplements for free (I don't remember exactly which vitamins they gave me the first time I was there). But I am only taking folic acid, B complex, calcium (not everyday though) and also neurogain (this neurogain is given by my KPJ doctor).

mak buyong yo!

On Sunday me and encek K went to the Motherhood Expo in Mid Valley. We did alot of surveying as it was too early for us to buy things for our baby. But..... cannot tahan lah, everything was soooo cute and the price was 20%-30% off from the normal price. If I was alone there I would have done major damage to my wallet, luckily encek K was there and he managed to stop me from buying just yet (FYI, there will be another Motherhood Expo in May, then only we will do our shopping). But... akhirnya TER-beli jugak... hahahahahahhaha.. mittens and booties je lah, nothing major. RM4 - RM6 for a set of mittens with booties. We bought 3 sets, and since we don't know whether it's a boy or a girl, we bought gender neutral colours..

super cute, cannot tahan lah!

p.s: I know.. I know... I still owe you guys the secret to the perfect bun.. Will write on that really soon yeah.
p.p.s: Tomorrow is encek K's birthday.. Still don't know nak suprise kan ape kat dia *helpp*

Tadaaa.... Haaa korang fikir ape tu?
Hello Cocoa Butter and Bio Oil!

Yup... Meet my new two best friends Mr Cocoa Butter and Mr Bio Oil. Since I entered my 4th month couple of weeks ago I have started using cocoa butter and bio oil at my tummy. Hopefully I can minimize the stretch marks (if any) on my tummy. Alhamdulillah so far the stretch marks have not visited me yet around my tummy area, but you never know right. So berusaha je awal-awal to prevent it from coming kan.. Insya Allah...

I normally use it in the evening (got no ime in the morning :P ); take my bath, slap 'em on generously around my tummy, wait for a while for it to dry and then put on my clothes. I try to alternate between the two coz I don't know which one works better (anybody has tried both before? let me know what are your thoughts). For me both products are OK, as in not too greasy and the smell is not too strong (I choose fragrance free for the cocoa butter). But as you might know bio oil is more expensive, the small bottle definitely cost more than the huge bottle of cocoa butter, so please choose wisely.

Of course there's no guarantee that the stretch marks will not appear even after you put on both products. I mean you can rub all the lotions, oils or whatever cream in the world on your tummy, tapi kalau stretch marks tu nak datang melawat, dia datang jugak. Haihhhh... But I guess there's no harm in trying to prevent it or delaying it from coming too soon. So watcha waiting for? Let's all try it! Start rubbing your tummy now!

sekadar berkongsi: amalan ketika mengandung

Stumbled upon this blog recently and found that she's also in the mommy to be club. Saw this one entry from her and decided to put it here. Apa salahnya kongsi ilmu kan :)

* Kredit to Heed's blog as I am copying straight from her entry.

Antara doa-doa yang digalakkan diamalkan semasa mengandung ialah

* Saidul (penghulu) Istighfar
* Doa memohon rahmat (Al-Quran Surah Ali 'Imran, 3 : 8-9)
* Doa memohon zuriat yang baik (Al-Quran Surah Ali 'Imran, 3 : 38 )
* Doa agar anak mengerjakan solat (Al-Quran Surah Ibrahim, 14 : 40-41)

* Surah Al-Fatihah (Untuk terang hati dan kuat ingatan)
* Surah Maryam (Untuk memudahkan ibu bersalin)
* Surah Yusuf (Untuk memperoleh anak yang cantik rupa dan cantik akhlak)
* Surah Luqman (Untuk memperoleh anak yang cerdik akal dan cerdik jiwa)
* Surah Yaasin (Untuk ketenangan hati dan anak tidak terpengaruh dengan godaan syaitan yang mengajak kepada maksiat)
* Surat Toha (Semoga bayi lembut hati)
* Surah Al-Nahl (Untuk melahir anak yang berdisplin)
* Surah Hujurat (Untuk memperbanyakkan susu ibu dan anak bersifat berhati-hati)
* Surah Al-Taubah (Untuk membersih jiwa dan terpelihara daripada maksiat)

2. Banyak melakukan ibadat, membuat kebajikan dan meninggalkan segala larangan agama. Perempuan hamil dituntut memperbanyakkan amal ibadat seperti sembahyang sunat, puasa sunat terutama Isnin dan Khamis serta sentiasa menjaga syariat. Bukan sahaja isteri, suami juga dituntut sama.

3. Sentiasa berakhlak baik.

Aminn Aminn

the purrfectt bun :)

Yuppp... I'm so 'rajin' and 'baik hati' today, so I snapped my outfit after lunch just now.

I also wanted show off my hair bun (rambut siput sedut)... For those of you who knows me and have met me before, you will know that I have super thin, super fine, super straight hair.. Making/Styling my hair into a bun or any style whatsoever is almost impossible without the help of hair gel, mousse and loadsaaaaa hair spray (trust me, I kid you not).

But.... jeng..jeng..jeng....... recently I have discovered a tool which allows me to style my superrr fine hair into a perfect bun in less than 5 minutes. Tak percayakah?? Seriously you can turn your hair into a bun without any gel, any mousse and even hair spray is not necessary at all.

masterchef

Couple of weeks ago I asked encek K to bring me to Madam Kwans Restaurant. Told him I badly wanted to eat the banana fritters with vanilla ice cream there (memang sedap I tell you!). Of course he agreed and said he will bring me there during the weekend (hati adalah amat gumbira time ni).

Few days after that we went for our weekly grocery shopping spree. These days a tub of 'neapolitan flavour ice cream' is 'a must' on our grocery list. I have to have my ice cream supply at home. Crucial okeh! Geddit? Crucial!! Kalau takde ice cream boleh bawak gaduh weh :P

So anyways, while we were strolling around looking for veggies and fruits encek K saw the bananas section. We never bought any bananas everrr in our life (sounds funny lah the sentence), so yang ada time tu pisang montel and pisang berangan je. Terus encek K asked me "Yang awak tau tak kalau nak buat cekodok pisang tu sedap pakai pisang ape?". My answer was "Errrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, tak tau la yang, jap me call mama eh". Iye, saya mengaku memang saya tak tau selama ni pisang ape yang sedap di buat cekodok, saya tau makan je. Encek K told me not to call my mum and decided to buy pisang berangan, it was really cheap, only RM1.70 for 1 comb (ke sebenarnye mahal tapi kitorang rasa murah sebab tak pernah beli pisang seumur hidup ni?). Tak kisahla janji RM1.70 kan, layankan aje beli pisang..

The next morning (which was Saturday), bangun-bangun je I heard bunyi keletang-keletung from the kitchen, memang dah agak encek K was cooking breakfast. He loves to cook especially during the weekend. Dalam hati cakap "Wah semangat sungguh laki aku nak masak cekodok pepagi nih". Moments later he called for me saying breakfast will be ready soon. I got up, washed my face, brushed my teeth and sambung bergolek-golek in front of the TV pulak. Kejap after that he came with our breakfast plates. And it was not cekodok pisang, it was banana fritters with vanilla ice creammmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

Ya Allah! I was like "Eh apa ni sayang?". Then he said "Surpriseeeee for you, makan lah". And I cried there and then *yeah gangguan emosi amat jelas di situ, tetiba nangis tak tentu hala* Sambil nangis sambil cakap "Sayang pass me my blackberry, nak amek gambar, nak mobile upload" (sempat lagi nak mobile upload tu). After snapping the picture, terus ngapppp the fritters with the ice cream, was still crying abit sebab terharu that he cooked the dessert for me plus sedappppppp gilerrrr puhleaseeeee. Couldn't stop thanking him for the dessert. I bedal 2 pinggan terus and terus cancel plan nak gi Madam Kwans. The ones hubby made was waaaaay better! :))

Hehehhehe, after mobile upload tu ramai lerr pulak our friends BBM-ed us; requesting encek K to make the dessert for them :) bolehhh bolehhh tapi korang beli lah pisang and ice cream, pastu bawak to our house.

my masterchef :)))

madam kwans punye --> 1 scoop ice cream + 2 fritters = rm10 to rm15 I think
ours --> 1 tub of ice cream + sesikat pisang = rm5.90+rm1.70 =rm7.60 (boleh makan sampai lebam)

Another recent breakfast surprise for me as well, egg roll pancake with mix salad. Inside the pancake ada salad, onions, green pepper, mustard, mayo and chilli sauce. Ni pun sodapppp gak!

sodap dan menyihatkan

Last but not least, asek cerite pasal encek K je yang masak, I pun ada masak for him jugak (chewah!). Tapi yang I masak ni tak setanding encek K laaa. Masak biasa-biasa je. I made dadih for him (made 'em few times already). Yup he loves dadih, selalu kalau pegi pasar malam mesti beli tapi kengkadang tak sedap sangat kan. So I made some for him :) Nak tau rahsia nak bagi dadih ni sedap rasa macam ice cream? Sooo easy pheasyyy. Ikut instruction kat belakang packaging tu tapi part yang susu cair tu gantikan separuh ngan coffee mate creamer. Contoh: dalam instruction cakap campurkan 100ml susu cair, tapi instead campurkan 50ml susu cair, 50ml coffee mate. Confirm the dadih will taste like ice cream yummehhhhh!

Tadaaa! Mak buyong @ me at 17 weeks (Was taken this morning!). Noticed my big tummy? :)) I weighed myself yesterday and the scale showed 52 kgs. That's ok I guess considering I have steadily been gaining 1kg each month. Encek K said and I quote "Awak tak gemuk, just bulat", what does that supposed to mean sayang???

hello ladies :)

My progress so far; have been feeling much, much, muchhhhh better as I am entering my 4th month *syukur ya ALLAH* (I guess it's true when they say that moms-to-be will feel better after the first trimester). The dizziness has gone down (not gone completely though), I finally have the mood to shop again (eventhough I'm pretty sure encek K doesn't really mind at all if this mood never came back, pffttttttt), I now have a little desire to dress up and put some makeup on (unlike before, pucat lesi pun x pedulik nak pakai bedak) and doesn't mind going out a bit to socialize (less sleep nowadays).

Dressing up especially for work has been challenging for me; most of my pants and skirts don't fit anymore (boleh sarung tapi tak boleh butang/zip), and most of my fitted shirts/t-shirt/tanks wouldn't fit anymore as well. Thank god for empire waist dress and babydoll dress and tops. So far I have not purchased any maternity clothes yet; the ones that I really like are super duper expensive (and the ones that are cheaper are so-so only for my liking) so I decided not to buy any at the moment and challenged myself daily to improvise my current wardrobe (trust me it's a challenge everyday).

High heels; I have said goodbye to them already. I prefer wedges and flats these days for more stability, I already bought 5 pairs of shoes this month (see, I told you my mood is back), will snap 'em soon I promise.

Foodwise; I now really really loveeee ice cream, banana fritters, nasi lemak (I ate 3 packs yesterday, help me!) and not forgetting french fries. If I have my way I would eat these food every single day trust me.

Hmmmm what else? That's about it I think. Ouhhhh, I must thanked my hubby encek K for being the best-test husband everrrrrrrr during my first trimester (and of course up until now). He takes special care of me, drives me to work ever single day, tolerates my unpredictable emotions, took care of me when I'm feeling dizzy, ensures that I take my vitamins daily, cooks all these wonderful out-of-the-world dishes for me and our lil one and helps me with millions more other things. I could not ask for a better husband :))) I LOVE U SAYANGGGG!

Speaking of Encek K, his birthday is coming soon. Have to think of something super special surprise for him soon. Any ideas?

family day

Waaahh 2 entries in 1 day! What a miracle eh? Hehehehehe... I feel really great today(that's why!) plus I know I owe all of you a lot of back dated entries.

Well, this one is not so back dated actually, coz it happened over last weekend, but since I snapped some pictures (I finally charged my camera's battery after ignoring it for 2 months, forgive me), I figured why not put it here.

So last weekend encek K's family(his father's side) had 'family day futsal session'. I was abit frustrated when I first know about the family day activity coz this mak buyong can't play along :( sedeyyy lorr tak dapat participate main futsal together with his relatives Dahla this is the first formal gathering after we got married last year, so am abit frustrated not being able to join them to kick some balls and running around. Nonetheless, of course I went to the family day, duduk tepi jadi pom-pom girl pun jadik lah. At least I get the chance to meet, greet and maybe get to know our relatives even more.

So that night, about 50 family members came. Only the cousins played the futsal (yang muda-muda), pakcik2, makcik2, cucu2, cicit2 semua duduk tepi court aje borak2. Altogether there were 4 teams (the members of the team consist 7 people, of different families). Encek K team's name is "Kite Bakor Jeee" , semua memang dah tersampuk ngan Hantu Kak Limah ni. Hehhehehehee... But his team did not do well, gaya memang over tak hengat, but keep on losing at each game. Hahahahaha...

I did not play obviously, jadi penyokong setia team "Kita Bakor Jeee" eventhough asek kalah je. When encek K's team is not playing I try to sit around and mingle with the rest. Some of them did not know I was pregnant, so everyone was so nice when they found out I was pregnant. Everyone keep saying sweet things like 'Jaga diri tu', 'Jangan penat-penat sangat', 'Makan tu.. makan ni..', and everyone gave a lot of pregnancy tips. Felt so much loooveeee that night. Hehehheheheee..

The final match ended around 11.15pm, and right after that was prize giving time and most importantly lucky draw time! I got lucky that night and won a hamper :) Weehoooo! Tak dapat main bola pun takpelah, janji dapat hamper. Around 12 midnight everything was settled and all 50 of us headed for supper at the nearby mamak (kaya mamak tu malam tu, dapat 50 orang customer sekaligus). Around 1.30am, everyone bid goodbye (ada yang balik jauh ke Melaka and PD), and again I feel so much loveee coz semua orang salam, peluk and pesan all sweet things to me. Seriously I can't wait for more family activities like this :))
