26 weeks :))

Hello... Lama tak update about my pregnancy kan?

Alhamdulillah, I am now in my 26th weeks :) Went for my checkup last Tuesday at KPJ Seremban with encek K. This time, for the first time we had to wait really long at the hospital coz our doctor (Dr. Ishak. did I tell you guys how much we loveeee him??) had to attend an emergency operation that morning. We arrived around 9.30am at the hospital, but only get to see our doctor around 12noon. Lama kan? Encek K sempatla jugak tido sejam lebih while waiting. Tapi baby punya pasal takpela. We did not want to re-schedule our appoinment coz we already took leave on that day, so tunggu aje lah.

Everything is well for both mommy and baby *alhamdulillah*. We did the usual scan, checked the baby's heart rate, baby's weight, baby's development and also baby's gender :) Dah tau dah baby boy or girl, but for now I want to keep it as secret. Next entry perhaps I will reveal it yeah, so be patient please. For mommy pulak, my current weight is already 57kg, huarghhhhhh! But the doctor said it's normal rate for me so I am a bit relieve about that.

I can already feel my baby's movement since 2-3 weeks ago. And now he/she is getting more and more active. Encek K pun dah rasa our baby's movement and he is so amazed with it! Hahahahaha.. Hari-hari tanya "Yang, baby gerak tak hari ni? Aktif tak?" We try to talk to our baby every morning and every night before going to bed. And when I am in the office I often talk to him/her as well. Hehehehhee..

My tummy is definitely noticeable nowadays. Encek K sometimes call me 'mak dugong' instead of 'mak buyong'. grrrrr main kasar ye encek K? Baju?? Banyak gila baju dah tak muat :( Uwaaaaaa! I can't even remember when was the last time I wore jeans actually. tskkk.. tskkk.. I had to do some shopping coz I really had nothing to wear especially to the office. Encek K always try to compliment me whenever I'm feeling down, thank you so much sayang, saya tau awak tak nak saya sedih sebab baju tak muat! But still sampai hari ni tak beli baju maternity lagi, just beli baju yang cutting/pattern dia besar sket to accommodate my growing belly.

Back pain pun semakin menjadi-jadi, and at night I have to find the correct position to sleep with the help of lotsaaa pillows, kalau tidak, sampai pagi tak boleh tidur. Kaki bengkak, so far my kaki dah bengkak but sikit sangat, but my kaki is so skinny before this, so memang boleh notice that my feet are plumper these days. Leg cramps alhamdulillah so far tak kena lagi. Toilet visits, phewww memang kerap sangat visiting the toilet these days.. Memang banyak dugaan nak jadi ibu ni, tapi ganjarannya (when the baby comes out), memang tak ternilai masya Allah :)

Baby's stuff? We haven't started buying. List dah ada tapi belum start beli lagi. Will have to start buying end of this month (ada SALE coming soon kan?). And we also have to start preparing our hospital bag really soon. Haishhhh so many things to do kan... But, what ever it is, me and encek K memang tak sabar-sabar to meet our lil' bun. We can't wait to see our baby!! Do pray for us yeah :)

Hey peeps! How was your long weekend? Spectacular I hope? I just got back to work today as I was still on leave yesterday (went for my pregnancy checkup actually, will write a post on that later). So yes, I was soooo lazy to get up this morning, I wish I don't have to.

So to kill my boredom for today, I would like to post few pictures of encek K and his team in action on Astro ARENA. Ewahhh ewahhh.. hehehhehe... encek K told me that he has been playing rugby for more than 10 years now tapi tak pernah masuk TV before this (kembang semangkuk laki mak ni masuk TV). Tapi sekarang glamour sket coz masuk Astro ARENA terus, the game is actually LIVE on the day itself (and of course ada ulangan la kan since Astro kan).

So on Labour Day haritu encek K found out there was a replay on Astro ARENA, 5.30pm. Of course lah laki mak ni made sure we were at home kan, siap tapau roti canai kat mamak bawah rumah dan bersemangat masak banana fritters with vanilla ice cream untuk mak buyong ni before the game.

5.30pm both of us dah tercongok depan TV. 5 minutes after game started, Astro TAKDE SIGNAL pulak boleh?? Huarghhh, it was raining at that time. Encek K dah buat muka seposen dah. But after 2-3 minutes, signal was back. Bersemangat balik mamat tu time ni. Hahahahahaaa.. Sibuk cakap "Wah tinggi jugak me ni eh yang." Hamboiii tetiba lak feeling lebih bila masuk TV. Pastu tanya "Yang, me nampak besar tak, gemok tak?" Errrr...camane la nak jawab soalan tu?? I just told him "Sayang, the camera adds 10 pounds." Jawapan play safe ni.. hehehehe...

We watched the game until 7.30pm, did not move an inch boleh? But the last 15 minutes encek K was no longer in action. Coz he was given YELLOW CARD by the referee and had to sit at the penalty box. Ishhhh ishhhh main kasar ye encek hubby....

His team won anyhow and will go to the finals this coming weekend :) And yes, the final match will go LIVE on Astro ARENA, but I'm not too sure whether it's on Saturday on Sunday.

Pheww.. Memang musim orang tunang and kahwin kot sekarang.. Kalendar dah penuh sampai end of next month..

So anyway, last weekend, encek K's one and only sister got engaged. Ni adik encek K paling bongsu tapi yang paling 'beso' skali dalam family encek K. Semangat sungguh adik ipar ku ini.. Dah berbuih mulut FIL and MIL suruh diet, tak di pedulikan langsung. Haihhhh, adik ipar sila lah diet sket ye sebelum kahwin.

Majlis pertunangan SIL ni buat kat kampung encek K, at the same time buat tahlil and kenduri sket. Unfortunately me and encek K had to leave early :( Sebab apa? Sebab laki mak ni sibuk nak main ragbi (ada sesapa tengok tak? coz the game was telecast LIVE on astro arena at 3pm on Sunday). Gila terkejar-kejar from Kuala Pilah back to KL kan. Semangat nak masuk TV laki mak ni.. Mak layankan aje..

Ape-ape pun, semua dah selamat alhamdulillah. Tahniah to my SIL Siti and her fiancee Nazar for their engagement. Dua2 pun 'comel' je.. Harus diet sama-sama k before kahwin :p

Helloooo, like finally lah kan.. Lama sungguh tak update..

Firstly I wanna congratulate 4 of my friends who recently got engaged :)

Hadi and Erin, who got engaged on 2nd of April 2011 (Will do another entry on this) and Kazu and Tina, who got engaged on 16th of April 2011. Congrats you guys!! Truly truly happy for all of you.

Anyhoot, Kazu n Tina's (our pengapits during our wedding remember?) engagement took place in Kota Bharu @ New Castle, Kelantan. Memang dorang dah ajak all our close friends to attend their engagement awal2 lagi. Me and Encek K of course joined the trip. And I told Encek K since the beginning that I wanted to fly to KB instead of driving (driving mahu kena 8jam weh, patah belakang mak buyong ni). Alhamdulillah, lucky us, we got a very reasonable fare to KB via Fire Fly, only RM90 return per person. Yeayyyy! But.. the rest of our friends did not manage to get the same fare, hence they had to fly using Air Asia. So, at the end only me and Encek K flew with Fire Fly, the rest took Air Asia (coz by then AA fare was cheaper than Fire Fly) and 3 of our friends drove from KL to KB. Pengantin pun drive with his family (yela nak bawak hantaran sume kan).

My flight was on Friday evening via Subang Airport, at first I was worried before I boarded the flight, yela takut tiba-tiba pening ke, muntah ke dalam flight, pengsan ke..but alhamdulillah everything went well. Was soo happy sebab tak sampai sejam dah sampai KB dah, takdelah bon-bon kebas kan, hehehehehe. Yang lain2 pun selamat sampai ke KB without any problem :)

Friday night, after checking into our bungalow, semua pun perut dah lapar la kan.. Ape lagi makan laaaa... We had steam boat and grill or "Chim Chum" as they call it there. Encek K yang suggest makan kat restaurant ni (macam la dia orang Kelantan pulak kan, ishh ishhh); he actually saw this restaurant on "Jalan-jalan Cari Makan" programme on TV3 couple of weeks ago. Actually sama je macam steam boat kat KL, beza cuma dia punya 'bahan api' tu using bara instead of gas, memang guna bara api direct, tak pakai gas langsung. But since pakai bara api, it took longer to cook the food la kan, that time semua dah lapar tahap gaban, so agak menguji kesabaran la jugak time dinner tu. Tapi sebab lapar, semua terpaksa la redha je.

After we finished our dinner, terus head back to our bungalow coz everyone was tired, I dozed off almost immediately, but the boys were busy until early morning (biasala dah jumpa geng memang x jadi orang)..

Second day (Saturday)

I woke up around 9am I think, but the rest mostly tengah tido lagi. Encek K pun dah bangun coz he was so excited to go for breakfast. Kenapa dia excited lebih? Coz, again, he is the one telling us where to go for breakfast (kalau makan nombor 1 tau dia ni). Since the night before he has been telling us that we should go for breakfast at "Kedai Kopi Din Tokyo". This kedai, not only he has seen on TV3's Jalan-jalan Cari Makan, but he has actually been there before. Tu yang berkobar-kobar suruh breakfast kat situ. Promote kaw-kaw nye (dapat komisyen kah sayang?). Nasib baik the rest pun ok aje and ikutkan aje Encek K ni. Kedai Kopi Din Tokyo ni ada semua makanan ok, nasi lemak, nasi ikan, nasi lauk daging, nasi lauk ayam, nasi dagang, nasi kerabu, mihun goreng, mi goreng, sandwich, aneka kuih-muih, pencuci mulut dan bermacam-macam lagi. Plus it's really cheap, bayangkan telur goreng RM0.50 je, total makan untuk 13 orang is rm90++ je, murah gilaaaa kot.

After breakfast at Din Tokyo, we headed to Pasar Siti Khadijah, nak shopping2 sikit la :)

After Pasar Siti Khadijah, semua dah menggelupur kepanasan, so kami pegi makan lagi. This time cendol and ABC pulak. Asek makan je kan? Haihhhh...After cendol, balik terus and bersiap for the engagement ceremony.

Engagement time!!

Theme was blue (my most favourite colour) and white. Tina looked so pretty that day. Ladies semua pakai biru yeayy! And guys semua nampak smart pakai baju melayu. Alhamdulillah everything went on smoothly. Best part was the food (makannnnn lagi). Seriously I kid you not, sedap gilaaa weiii. Nasi tomato, ayam percik, daging masak hitam, ikan sweet sour and sambal ikan bilis. I was stuffing myself until I can barely move. The rest pun sama gak. Tu pun ada hati nak tambah lagi tapi perut dah terlalu terik :(

That night after the engagement, we went to Wakaf Che Yeh. Wakaf Che Yeh ni ala-ala downtown kat Cheras tu. But times two the size, besar gila and banyak gila kedai, memang xsempat jalan semua, plus dah penat gila kan dari pagi non-stop sana sini. Nothing much here actually, except for...... yes you are right FOOD! Imagine Ice Blended buah RM1.00 je, fresh fruit ok. Buah potong pun RM0.50 je, kat KL buah potong RM1.50 sekarang ni :( Memang beli makanan yang lebih, lain-lain tak beli pun.

Day 3 (Sunday)

Early breakfast at Kedai Kopi White House (kali ni bukan atas nasihat paksaan Encek K yeah). Kedai ni Encek K tak tahu-menahu ye. Mek Kelate Tina yang bawak. Famous sebab roti bakar dia. Masa datang memang full house kedai ni sampai takde table pun. Have to wait for a while barulah dapat meja. Yup, memang layan pun roti bakar dia sampaikan mak buyong bedal 2 1/2 set roti bakar. Makanan yang lain2 dah tak pandang dah.

Then terus shoot pergi Rantau Panjang, mula-mula planning ingatkan nak pergi Golok tapi some of us takde passport plus ada yang passport dah expired pulak, so ke Rantau Panjang aje lah kita ye... Sampai rantau panjang, mak aihhh panas gilaaaaaaa! Kepala terus pening actually, tapi sebab tak tau lagi bila nak sampai kat sana, ku gigihkan jua meredah panas untik bershopping. Tapi seriously takde ape sangat pun kat sini, except if u datang nak beli barang2 dapur like periuk and pinggan mangkuk (memang murah gila peralatan dapur kat sini), yang lain-lain tu biasa la kain baju, kasut and beg. Me and Encek K telah terrrr-beli set tilam untuk baby yang sangat comel (will snap the picture someday k, hehe). Tilam corak teddy bear kaler purple complete with bantal plus bantal peluk, we couldn't help it, sebab terrr-lampau comel plus murah. Yang lain2 tu kami tak beli pun, so kira ok lah tak membazir kan. Errr sorry tak banyak gambar, coz everyone excited nak shopping, takde sape snap gambar.

After shopping.. mana lagi kalau bukan.....ya betul MAKAN! This time we went to the famous 'Yati Ayam Percik'. Ni kira makan last call before balik la ni. Semua memang makan kaw-kaw tak kasik chance ni. Tapiiii, terlupa nak amek gambar boleh???? Haihhhhhh..Stress betul la bila check balik tengok takde sape pun amek gambar. Sekeping pun takde gambar kat Yati Ayam Percik ni. Ape pun makan kat Yati Ayam Percik ni memang best gilaaaa plus harga pun berpatutan. Confirm tak nyesal punya.

After perut sume dah tegak makan Yati Ayam Percik, sume pun nak kena balik packing barang. Our journey has come to an end laa :( Benciii!! Me and Encek K dah siap pack since pagi lagi, so berehat-rehat ajela sampaila ke malam. Apa-apa pun, if you are travelling with your close friends, memang the journey will be wonderful, tak kisahla ke mana-mana pun kan. Plus point kat Kelantan ni, makanan dia memang best-best. Nak jalan-jalan tu tak banyak pilihan sangat la. Main point for us was to attend our friend's engagement ceremony, dapat jalan-jalan sikit-sikit plus makan-makan tu kira bonus la kan. Was definitely a great trip eventhough it was a short one. Takpe korang, end of this year ada lagi holiday trip kita kan :)
